About Fairquery
Fairquery builds precise, agent-ready APIs and MCP tools for developers and AI agents: email validation, sanctions screening, PII and secret redaction, dependency security, SEC EDGAR data and website intelligence.
What Fairquery is
Fairquery is a small, independent tools brand. Each tool does one job, returns structured JSON with explicit reason codes, and documents its limits. Most tools are Apify Actors with a matching open-source stdio MCP server on GitHub (MIT licensed). The Agent Trust & Data Safety MCP server (@fairquery/agent-trust-mcp on npm, also in the official MCP Registry) bundles several of them. A few tools are also on RapidAPI. See all tools.
Principles
- Precision over hype. Outputs say exactly what was checked and what was not. Examples: the email validator never claims a mailbox exists, and sanctions matches are candidates for human review, not legal determinations. Every guide uses real, unedited sample output.
- Transparent pay-per-result pricing. Paid tools charge per result (per email, per name, per document, per package), plus a small start fee per run ($0.00005 on most tools, $0.007 on the sanctions screener), with prices listed on each Apify Store page. There are no subscriptions or minimums on Apify, and error rows are never charged. RapidAPI listings use RapidAPI's plan model, including a free tier.
- Minimal data by design. Fairquery tools are designed to keep as little of your data as possible. Free tools run locally on your machine. Paid tools run in your own Apify account, under that account's storage settings. RapidAPI requests are processed in memory by a Fairquery-operated service that is designed not to store inputs or results, though limited request metadata is logged and the platforms keep their own logs. We don't sell your inputs or results, and we don't use them to train AI models. Details are on the Security & Privacy page.
- AI-agent friendly. Tools have stable JSON schemas, clear error codes and MCP servers with honest cost and behavior notes, so agents can call them safely. The site publishes llms.txt and llms-full.txt.
